Chennai loses top slot to Ajmer

For a change, Ajmer has beaten Chennai to the top slot as far as the Class X CBSE results are concerned. While Ajmer recorded a total pass percentage of 93.87 when the results were announced today, Chennai scored 93.47. The national capital retained its fifth position with 77.18 per cent, better only than Guwahati with 56 per cent. About seven lakh students from all over the country appeared for the Class X board exams this year and 84.44 per cent managed to clear it.
